On to Eichelberg: The Gaggertkerwe in Stein invites you to celebrate!

From August 7 to 9, 2026, the Kerweplatz at Eichelberg will once again be transformed into the vibrant heart of Stein by the Gaggert youth. A weekend full of live music, culinary diversity, and the best Palatine hospitality awaits visitors of all ages. The best part: Admission is free on all days!

The program at a glance
Friday, August 7 – The kickoff: The festival program starts at 6:00 p.m. with a highlight: Mayor Pascal Braun traditionally donates free beer for the first guests. The musical evening will kick off at 8:00 p.m. with the band "The Spell," which will get the audience in the mood with the best cover rock and pop songs. From 11:00 p.m. onwards, DJ Jen will take charge at the mixing desk to keep the atmosphere at its peak into the night.
Saturday, August 8 – Acoustic sounds and finest rock: From 5:00 p.m. the festival grounds will open again. Look forward to an atmospheric summer evening starting at 8:00 p.m. with the finest acoustic sounds from the band "Combined." Afterwards, the "Deafen Goblins" will heat things up for the audience – the band has been shaking the Palatine stages for decades!
Sunday, August 9 – Tradition, Palatine song culture & cozy wind-down: Sunday begins at 11:00 a.m. classically with the traditional breakfast. From around 1:00 p.m. the "Pfälzer Spätlese" will provide a sing-along atmosphere with original Palatine songs. In the evening, we will then enjoy a cozy wind-down to the festival weekend.

Culinary delights & family fun
There is great provision for physical well-being on all days: The butcher shop Andelfinger from Erfweiler will spoil guests with Palatine specialties and a traditional Kerwe meal on Sunday. A delicious vegetarian alternative has also been considered on all days. In addition, a crêpe stand with sweet and savory variations tempts visitors, and on Sunday afternoon, the Gaggert youth warmly invites everyone to coffee and homemade cake. The ice cream van from "Roberto" will ensure the perfect cooling refreshment on Sunday afternoon.
Even the youngest festival visitors will not miss out: Attractions like a sweets stall, shooting range, and the popular "Reitschul" ensure that there is definitely no boredom.
