This time nothing is missing in the 54th ZAC Variety Show at the Waggonhalle: excitement, fantasy, comedy, temperament, illusion, poetry, a touch of eroticism, and so on. The artists for our variety spectacle are at home on the most beautiful stages and are looking forward to their summer audience in Marburg.
Successful transitions make the success of an event. Not only for this purpose, but our shows this summer will be moderated by two different "magicians": Stefan Alexander Rautenberg, the enchanting host and Maître de Plaisir, is very much looking forward to the hours spent together with the Marburg audience. As "Master of Ceremonies," he is the common thread of our variety evenings from the 10th to the 13th of August. He is more than just a connection between the audience and the stage: he opens the spectacle, reveals the surprises of the evening, casually performs a magic work of art, and is part of the "fireworks." His audience refers to him as Prospero, Pan Tau, and a true enchanter. This "enchantment" mainly arises from the spoken word, which brings people together in the circle of magic. His engagements take him through all 16 federal states, Europe, overseas, and Africa. Today, he is among the leading professional magicians in Germany. In the magical scene, he is regarded as a modern classic and the "last romantic." https://www.stefan-alexander-rautenberg.de

And from the 26th to the 30th of August, Michelle Spillner, with her empathetic, unmistakable style, will prepare the stage for the wonderful artists of our program; moreover, she embodies the epitome of female magic. Incredible, unique, professional, highly intelligent, humorous, incomparable, quick, lovable, authentic, spontaneous, cuddly, tame, washable… and that was just the rabbit! With feline grace, she moves on any dance floor. Her presence is intensely magical. Guided by feminine intuition, her magic is a game with the rules of life. She enchants, fascinates, entertains, and creates unforgettable moments. Her performances captivate people of all types. Where Michelle performs magic, there is amazement, laughter, doubt, and wonder. She will accompany us with her magic through the evenings of the second week. http://www.michellezaubert.de

Linda Sander last participated in our Open-Air ZAC five years ago with her Waterbowl artistry. This time we will experience her on the "dry" stage of the Waggonhalle and beyond. The passionate artist has been convincing in the world of variety for almost one and a half decades through technical skill, presence, and passionate charisma. She creates breathtaking moments that give you goosebumps, sometimes rebellious and sometimes graceful, captivating the audience. The performances she creates are characterized by individuality, dynamism, and personality, and the precise choreography merges with the music in an intensely powerful way. She has already performed in all major variety theaters in Germany, such as the legendary Tigerpalast Frankfurt, and has enthralled and fascinated audiences in many countries with her art. We will experience her powerful, dynamic handstand choreographies and her captivating aerial artistry in our program. http://www.linda-sander.com
Andy Jordan has also been a guest at the Waggonhalle with his wonderful ring and diabolo juggling acts. Since then, the young Austrian exceptional artist has been on our wish list for a new engagement in the ZAC Variety. After finishing high school, he made his dream a reality and began training at the State Circus School in Berlin. He completed this with his "Ring-Bounce" performance, which he has continued to refine and improve to this day. Immediately after his studies, he was engaged by GOP Variety, where he also accompanied the show on the drums. In 2023, he participated in the world's largest emerging circus festival, the "Cirque de Demain," and won the special prize from Cirque Phénix. http://www.andyjordan-juggler.com
By now, he is performing internationally and traveling around the world with his girlfriend, the artist Veronica Fontanella. Veronica Fontanella was born in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland, where she began performing at a very young age. At the age of six, she began her training at the circus school "Scuola Circo Lidia Golovkova," where she learned the basics and developed her first acts. During these years, the young Swiss had the opportunity to perform nationally and internationally at various festivals with her acts. Even then, it was clear to her that she wanted to work as a professional artist; for this reason, she applied to the "State Circus School Berlin" in 2017. In Berlin, she rediscovered her passion for acrobatics. In 2020, she completed her training. http://www.veronica-artist.de
For twenty-eight years, Juno has enjoyed inviting the artists to the Marburg Waggonhalle again and again. And of course, he is also looking forward to being part of it again in August. Once again, he will showcase his small sleight of hand skills to the sounds of our jazz quartet. A ball turns into a cloth and then into playing cards before it transforms back into a cloth that performs little acrobatics in his hand. http://www.juno-zauber.de
Musicians who have long since become our friends, the Jazzrobots, continue to sensitively and masterfully set the musical accents in our show, just as they have for years. Their playing is unobtrusive, and they are a wonderful enhancement for any show. Many viewers do not want to miss them, and honestly, neither do the theater staff nor the artists. Rarely are varieties in Germany as fortunate as we are to be able to enhance our programs with live music.
