An impressive tour through the jewel of neo-Gothic architecture.
More than a hundred years ago, Protestants from all over the world built the Memorial Church in remembrance of the protest at the Imperial Diet of Speyer in 1529. Today, the Memorial Church in Speyer is the only well-preserved large neo-Gothic church in Germany. Particularly noteworthy are the organ and the colorful stained glass window cycle, which offers an extensive imagery program documenting the history and idea of the protest.
The next or the last tour for this year will take place on September 13 at 12 o'clock p.m.
The tour is offered only in German.
Duration: 1.5 - 2 hours
Meeting point: Luther forecourt in the Memorial Church, at Bartholomäus-Weltz-Platz
