E-Bike Tour to Hornisgrinde

Guided Mountain Bike Tour: We’ll ride along the Murg River to Obertal, and from there we’ll take the old Ruhestein Road to the Ruhestein. Passing the Darmstädter Hütte, we’ll head over the Seibelseckle to the Hornisgrinde, the highest mountain in the Northern Black Forest. The reward is a breathtaking view of the Black Forest and the Rhine Valley. We’ll stop for a break at the Grinde-Hütte. The return route takes us past the Hirschlachhütte and the Münstereck—with a fantastic view of the upper Murg Valley—back to Baiersbronn. Difficulty: The route is approximately 60 km long, with 1,300 meters of elevation gain. The fitness level required is easy to moderate, and the technical difficulty is easy, Singetrail scale S0.
