The heroine in Sabine Trinkaus’ short story “No Power to Drugs” is firmly convinced that drugs don’t solve problems – at least until she stumbles upon a questionable deal in the middle of Euskirchen. It gets dark with Stefan Barz: When fog lies over the fields, history becomes a matter of interpretation. In “The Silent Witness,” he tells of a deadly moment between truth, offense, and power in the sculpture park near Langendorf Castle.

Three brand new short stories from “Nordeifel Mordeifel 3”. And then there’s the location: the listed Old Slaughterhouse. Over 110 years old, in operation until 2017 – inventory included. An ambiance that could hardly be imagined any better. Those who still have nerves afterward are invited to a subsequent short tour of the Old Slaughterhouse. Providing criminal tones that evening is “Mäete,” the saxophonist Martin Frings.
