Kikeriki Theater: Nosferatu – The Irony of Horror

The KIKERIKI THEATER stands for cheerfulness, lightheartedness, and nonsense—but never for pointlessness! On Friday, November 6, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., the famous theater will perform at the Stadthalle in Eberbach. Driven by a desire to take the pulse of the people and speak their minds without mincing words, the theater delights in presenting the pitfalls of everyday life and all human weaknesses—sometimes in a heavy-handed way, sometimes in a lighthearted one. A Kasper burlesque for adults, loosely based on F. W. Murnau’s silent film “Nosferatu—A Symphony of Horror”! In the KIKERIKI THEATER’s production, the restless bloodsucker is paired with the shrewd “fairground Kasper,” playing the role of a real estate agent’s assistant, as his foolish counterpart—Kasper meets Dracula! The result is a interplay of horror and laughter, intelligence and simplicity, fear and naivety, life and death. A eerily beautiful story with plenty of humor and witty wordplay.
