Cider Festival with a Market and Music

On October 10, there’s a lively atmosphere at Zeller Kanzleiplatz The Cider Festival is an experience for visitors of all ages! Watch the children’s eyes light up as they turn the cider press and realize: Apple juice is actually made from real apples, doesn’t come from a carton, and tastes absolutely delicious. The culinary delights prepared by the “Mostbuebe un Mostmaidle” are also delicious: fresh apple and onion tarts, new freshly pressed cider, aged cider, and, of course, cider punch made according to the “Neuhuser” secret recipe. Traditionally sensational—that’s the Cider Festival in Zell. People stroll around just as they used to, and there’s music, too. The duo “Blue Sky,” aka Gisela and Karl-Heinz Hug, provide musical entertainment—handmade, of course. You’ll also find handmade goods at the weekly “Städtlemarkt.” Starting at 7 a.m., regional vendors stock the market stalls with a variety of products—from apples and farmhouse bread to honey and cheese, right through to sausage and Zibärtle; everything is there. “Come, marvel, buy” is the motto here, and the Cider Festival with live music will literally “sweeten” the market bustle on Saturday, October 10, at Kanzleiplatz in Zell a.
