A unique testament to the history of entrepreneurial spirit, architecture, and art. With its prominent location on the Nagold River, the Palais Vischer adds an architectural highlight to Calw’s Old Town, which is characterized by its half-timbered houses. As a testament to the great economic success of the Calw Timber and Rafting Company, its extraordinary Louis XI-style architecture makes it a symbol of the spirit of the times at the end of the 18th century. Today, it serves as the Calw City Museum and houses treasures of local history.
