At the bottom of the ocean lies the village where Undine lives with her family. One day, some boats get caught in a storm and a boy falls into the sea. Undine knows that land-dwellers cannot survive long in the water, so she brings him back to the shore. With the help of shell magic and a paddle boat, a friendship develops between Undine and the boy named Rino – however, it must remain a secret, as Undine's father forbids contact with the land. Gradually, Undine learns that this conflict between the sea people and the land-dwellers threatens not only the underwater world but also the future of the entire planet. Courageously, Undine and Rino make a decision.
“Undine” is a story about peace and the first step towards it, about friendship, self-confidence, and the courage to do things differently. Text, sounds, singing, and music invite you to a special listening experience, where characters come to life and a captivating story is told. The imaginative stage design enhances the visual experience.
