Walk through underground paths tracing the past and discover our fortifications on the Schlossberg. With bastions, casemates, and ramparts, one of the largest defense systems in Western Europe was created for more than 2,000 soldiers, making the "Dillenburg" impregnable. The highlight and conclusion of the approximately 1-hour tour through Dillenburg's "underworld" is the visit to the well in the "Lion's Pit".
The ticket entitles you to participate in a casemate tour.
