Mobility Day 2026

As part of “Car-Free Day,” Mobility Day will take place on September 21 on Charlottenstraße. On Mobility Day, the street space and parking spots on Charlottenstraße will be transformed into spaces that can be freely designed and used creatively. In addition to **information booths** on the topic of sustainable mobility, you can look forward to various activities organized by residents, clubs, and businesses. Mobility Day will be rounded out by a diverse program of events, **activities for children**—including creative workshops and arts and crafts, a Bobby Car course, a bounce house, and much more—as well as **refreshments**. There’s also plenty to see on the **stage** in the “Alte Feuerwache” parking lot: 12:15 p.m. Opening ceremony by Mayor Simon Blümcke and the Graf Zeppelin Fanfare Band, followed by the 2025 City Cycling Awards ceremony 12:30 p.m. Music by the band “Strandgut” 2:30 p.m. Artistic and unicycle demonstration by RRMV (intersection of Charlottenstraße and Katharinenstraße) 2:45 p.m. Tanzwerk Insel—children’s dance performances 3:00 p.m. Mini Disco 3:15 p.m. Music School Part I: Improvisation Band, Flute Ensemble 4:00 p.m. RRMV artistic and unicycle demonstration (intersection of Charlottenstraße and Katharinenstraße) 4:15 p.m. Music School Part II: Trumpet quartet, clarinet trio, drum solo AND THE BEST PART: **Free city bus service** on Mobility Day: On September 21, 2025, take advantage of the free bus service offered by Stadtverkehr Friedrichshafen in bodo Zone 10 to reach your destinations within the city in a sustainable way!
