Guided Tour and Hike: The hike leads to the “Alter Stein,” a mysterious spot at the edge of the forest, to the Schliffkopf Cross, then through the deep pine forest to a forest clearing. The trail continues over the “Steinmäuerle” to the viewpoint at the Schurkopf. In silence, you can enjoy a break from everyday life. Guide: Achim Brodback (Church in the National Park) Difficulty: Wide and narrow trails with uneven and/or steep sections, moderate to significant elevation gain (over 100 m), risk of slipping; good basic physical condition and sturdy footwear required. Requirements: Registration is required at www.kirche-nationalpark-schwarzwald.de or by phone at +49 7841 668403. Equipment: Hiking or trekking shoes, appropriate clothing (hat and jacket if needed); please bring your own food and drinks. Refreshments available along the way. Walking time approx. 2 hours (6 km, 120 meters elevation gain). The hike will not take place in the event of continuous rain.
