Traveling Exhibition at City Hall. A Fascinating Journey Through the Black Forest The traveling exhibition “A Fascinating Journey Through the Black Forest” is making a stop in Oberhamersbach. Starting May 25, 2026, over thirty large-format works by various local landscape photographers will be on display at City Hall. On display are photographs from both familiar and lesser-known corners of the Black Forest, showcasing its full diversity. They impress with their technical skill, exceptional precision, and high level of authenticity—as well as the love that the members of the Heimatlichter network feel for nature and their homeland. “How wonderful that we are able to display our photos here in Oberhamersbach,” says Benjamin Kuderer, managing director of Heimatlichter GmbH. “This idyllically situated vacation destination provides a wonderful setting for our high-quality nature and landscape photographs. With our exhibition, we hope to inspire visitors to embark on a mental journey through the Black Forest and discover new perspectives along the way.” “A Fascinating Journey Through the Black Forest” will be on view from May 25 to October 18, 2026, at the Oberharmersbach Town Hall during regular opening hours: Monday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday: 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (closed on holidays) The opening reception will take place on May 25, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. as part of German Mill Day. During the Alte Mühle’s opening hours (Tue & Sat), visitors can enjoy another fascinating exhibition of local photographs in the Historic Granary—admission is free!
