Children's Theater: Planet of the Rabbits | Württemberg State Theater

The children’s theater at the Künzelsau City Hall invites you to laugh, empathize, and reflect. Two rabbits are lounging by the pool, living the good life: gummy bears galore, the latest and coolest gadgets always at their fingertips—they even have a jam-on-toast prank robot. At first, they seem completely unconcerned that their planet is supposed to explode in ten days: “Let the rabbits stop the explosion.” But with each passing day, their uncertainty grows; the two feel less and less at ease. When the shopping mall closes down on top of that, fear creeps in. Suddenly, the bunnies are faced with decisions: Should they build a machine to stop the planet from exploding, or should they just take the next elevator into space? Stand still and burrow in, stop hopping around, or try to wake the others up? **In this play, the two rabbits tackle the big questions with lots of playful energy and cheeky songs: How do you pull this off together? Where do you start? And what does a rabbit actually need to live a really good life? **
