WORTBLÜTEN

From the accidental discovery of an old book while disposing of waste paper, a very extensive cycle of drawings has unexpectedly and unplanned developed over several years. Each of the word blossoms corresponds to a short passage of text, often just a single word on the present book page, providing the key word and serving as the basis for a corresponding illustration. Consequently, these (marked) text fragments also serve as the respective titles of the images. Text and image create an equal symbiosis. Stripped of their original context, the usually very spontaneous conceptual implementation of the words often tilts in unexpected directions, sometimes humorous and sometimes melancholic.
Those who need reading glasses should have them with them!

The vernissage will take place on wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 6 p.m. The exhibition will be open until July 16, 2026.
Opening hours: Thursdays, 4–6 p.m., and Saturdays, 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
