The Idyllic Tonbach Valley

Guided Hike The Tonbach Valley became famous as the home of Germany’s top chef. But anyone exploring the valley on foot will soon realize that there’s more to discover than just culinary treasures. The steep mountain slopes flow into one another like a green fan. Houses and farms are scattered across their slopes, while meadows dotted with wild herbs stretch out in the valley. A soothing tranquility reigns over it all—there is no through traffic in the Tonbach Valley. Difficulty: The route is approximately 8 km long. The difficulty level ranges from easy to moderate. Suitable for: This tour is not suitable for strollers. A baby carrier may be borrowed, subject to availability. Requirements: Registration is required by 12:00 p.m. on the day before the event.
