The Marburg Open-Air Cinema Summer brings big cinema to the castle park stage again this year. On a screen size of around 200 m², visitors can expect a varied selection of current films, classics, and special cinema highlights under the open sky. Eberhofer (Sebastian Bezzel) in the new building, Birkenberger (Simon Schwarz) in the pigsty, and Susi (Lisa Maria Potthoff) (almost) in the mayor's office – and as if the chaos in Niederkaltenkirchen wasn't perfect already, Grandma (Enzi Fuchs) is off to a spa! Luckily, the new housekeeper Julika (Lara Mandoki) is keeping things in order at the Eberhofer farm, much to the delight of Dad (Eisi Gulp) and Leopold (Gerhard Wittmann), while Franz has to find his way through Susi's election campaign and his son Paul's new hobby. When the local "Steckerlfisch king" is found dead on the newly built golf course, the village sheriff finds this quite convenient. Together with Rudi Birkenberger, he embarks on the investigation. Soon the two friends get caught up in a full-blown family feud between two festival clans. "Romeo and Juliet" in Lower Bavaria!
