Digging for Biking

Bike Event: Everyone who wants to help maintain the mountain bike trail network—and thereby contribute to preserving our unique trails—meets at the end of the season, just as they do every year. At the start, the trail sponsors assign members to work crews so they can head out together to the construction sites in the forest. Trails damaged by tire treads will be repaired, missing signs will be replaced, and overgrown trails will be cleared during the event. Of course, in addition to mountain bikers, hikers are also welcome to lend a hand and offer advice. This event is a great opportunity for the various interest groups to exchange ideas. Around 3:00 p.m., everyone heads back for a shared snack. Requirements: Please register in advance so that enough food can be provided.
