Printing & Design: Christina Cohen-Cossen & Stephan Trinkl

As part of the *43rd Baden-Württemberg Literature Days* in Bad Mergentheim, an exhibition by Christina Cohen-Cossen and Stephan Trinkl is taking place—a very special artistic collaboration. Normally, Hamburg-based master cabinetmaker and illustrator Christina Cohen-Cossen uses her wonderfully airy yet precise drawings as a preliminary step for her prints. Stephan Trinkl—copywriter, musician, and flâneur—was inspired by these very drawings to create laconic, offbeat accompanying texts. The two will present some of the resulting cartoons that evening and offer insights into the creative process. In addition, Christina Cohen-Cossen will display selected prints from her “blue phase,” which, with their shimmering, vibrant floral motifs, invite viewers to linger—much like a stroll through a spa garden. Stephan Trinkl will also recite some of his “condensations”: observations of everyday life—ranging from lighthearted to pensive—in the form of short, pointed texts. **Exhibition** runs through November 20, 2026.
