He began taking piano lessons at the Gnessin Music School in Moscow at the age of 7. He went on to study at the Russian Gnessin Academy of Music; in 1996–97, he was named “Best Student of the Year.” He completed postgraduate studies at the University of Music and Drama in Hanover.b Audiences appreciate the depth and vitality of his playing, his genuine passion and refined taste, his virtuosic skill, and the maturity of his interpretations. Bartf3k’s *Im Freien* combines sounds of nature with folk rhythms and experimental sound effects to vividly recreate experiences of nature. Jane1e8ek’s *Auf verwachsenem Pfade* is inspired by childhood memories, images of nature, and deep emotions. All these works are united by the idea of transforming nature and human emotions into music—sometimes delicate and melancholic, sometimes powerful and expressive, but always full of vitality. []()
