Picture Book Cinema

What is it actually?
The Picture Book Cinema has developed as a special form of reading aloud and storytelling. While the story from the book is read or told, the images are projected in large format onto a screen using an iPad and projector.
The picture book has a special significance for child development. The stories and images in books help children cope with everyday experiences and open up a fascinating world of new experiences. The event format of the Picture Book Cinema introduces children to books in an exciting and playful way. The aim is broadly to motivate them to read; the imagination should be stimulated and language skills should be enhanced.

"The Little Witch - Winter Magic with Abraxas" by Otfried Preußler
In the snowy little town, the little witch helps the freezing chestnut man and celebrates a magical winter festival with the animals in the forest.

For children aged 4 and up. Registration required.
