Discover Zell’s Artistic Soul Discover the artistic diversity of Zell am Harmersbach! On the Zell Art Trail, traditional craftsmanship, modern design techniques, and the special atmosphere of this half-timbered town come together to create a unique experience. On this 90-minute guided tour, you’ll learn fascinating facts about the exhibited works, their creation, and the artists behind them—from ceramics and metal art to contemporary installations. The tour begins at the impressive circular kiln, a symbol of the town’s rich ceramic heritage. From there, a member of the Friends of the Art Trail will guide you to selected exhibits and share background information, stories, and technical details that bring the Art Trail to life. At the same time, you’ll gain insights into the town’s history and learn why art has always played a special role in Zell.
