The St. Agatha music band was founded as early as 1888. Since then, it has been an essential factor in the cultural and social life of Bad Goisern. Its incorporation into the fire department in 1923 made it one of the few fire bands in Upper Austria.
Throughout the year, the music band can be heard and seen at many outings and events. These include the traditional outings at Easter, the Christmas tower music in the parish church in St. Agatha, and the New Year's music, where New Year's wishes are delivered from house to house.
