Herb and Flower Hike GERNKOGEL
(23.06. / 07.07. / 21.07. / 04.08. / 18.08. / 01.09. / 15.09. / 29.09.) Our local mountain, the Gernkogel, is known as one of the most flower-rich mountains in Austria! A variety of herbs and flowers will greet us on our hike to the 2,267 m high summit. Our hiking guide has much to share about these treasures of nature. At the summit, we are rewarded with a unique alpine panorama overlooking the mountain world of the Hohe Tauern. To recharge, we will bring a hearty snack! As a reward, each participant will receive a free mountain herb salt to take home.
A beautiful mountain hike for all herb enthusiasts! Meeting point: 8:30 AM at the Königsleiten Tourist Association or 9:00 AM at the Wald Tourism Office - total hiking time is approximately 4 1/2 hours.

Cost: € 5 per person for transfer, hiking guide free of charge - ascent by hiking bus to Wurfalm, return from Ederbauer.
Requirements: Moderate Return: Around 4:00 PM - 670 m elevation gain
