The play about the life and death of the rich man Everyman.
The rich farmer Jedermann is extremely proud of his estate. He dismisses his mother's admonitions as ridiculous and mocks his poor neighbour and a poor woman for their poverty. Instead, he listens more to his urban crony, who talks down to him. He knows how to enjoy his wealth, carousing and partying with his supposed friends almost every day. But one day, suddenly and without warning, death approaches him and asks him to come along.....
At the open-air theatre in Karlsgarten (access via A.-Strindbergstraße)
The performance venue is one of the most beautiful natural stages in Austria.
In case of bad weather, the performance takes place in the Festsaal Schloss Mondsee-Irrsee in the Salzkammergut.
