NATURSCHAUSPIEL - Faszination Gmöser Moor

During our hike through the Gmöser Moor area, we will learn about the geology and composition of this bog. At the bog biotope, we will scoop up bog water for drinking, and in the Moor Chapel, we will learn about the history of healing and have the opportunity for meditation.

The giant moor birches and oaks serve as power spots to recharge our energy. On the moor circular path, we will walk a short distance barefoot and observe the processes within ourselves. Here, we will also get to know the typical vegetation. We will learn about the healing effects and uses of the trees and plants and sample some of them. The inhabitants of the bog, such as fieldfares, marsh warblers, brown-throated thrushes, nuthatches, and orioles will also be explored. At the end of the tour through the Gmöser Moor, we will investigate the peat extraction area, where we will learn about the healing properties of the bog, especially for our musculoskeletal system.

At the end of our tour, we will strengthen ourselves with a moor foot or hand bath using herbs like horsetail and meadowsweet. The event takes place on request with a minimum group size of 7 people.
