This film takes viewers into the depths of a former gold mine in South Dakota, to the most sensitive dark matter detector in the world. From there, the film travels to the Large Hadron Collider, the world's largest and most powerful particle accelerator at CERN in Switzerland, where an international team of scientists is working together to track down the components of dark matter. Dark matter has not yet been directly observed, but its existence is no longer questioned in cosmology, and this film is rather challenging. After the film, the star tower team explains the sky at night and its constellations.
