THE CHILDREN & YOUTH DAY FOR BEGINNERS IN THE BIKE PARK! Control, safety, and lots of fun! Here you will learn all the important skills to master your bike better in small groups and in a playful way! What does Rookie mean: A "Rookie" is a YOUNG BIKER. It is a common term in action sports. The word ROOKIE has nothing to do with "ROCKY," as is often mistakenly assumed - that is a boxer! Goal: To safely overcome all bike park basics, steep turns, obstacles, learn basic jumping techniques, and much more! You will need: A children's or youth freeride bike, full-face helmet, safety set, and a day pass for the Leogang Bike Park is required! When: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during the holiday period Start: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM Each time during the holiday period. Outside of holiday periods, we can accommodate groups of 4 participants upon request. We ask for your understanding that we cannot offer the full children's program during the off-season (e.g., German autumn holidays) if the minimum number of participants in the respective age group and level is not reached! Minimum age: 8 years - youth up to 14 years; younger participants are welcome upon request! Group division according to age and level. Levels: *Beginner (no to little prior knowledge), **slightly advanced; Minimum number of participants: 4 people All courses in small groups. Meeting point: Bike School - Valley Station Leoganger Bergbahnen. PLEASE ARRIVE WITH YOUR BIKE AND EQUIPMENT READY AT THE START OF THE COURSE! Information: Lunch supervision means that your child will also be supervised by our trainers from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM! Meals are NOT included! Depending on eating habits and hunger - please provide appropriate money! A lift pass for the RIDERS PLAYGROUND and at least one mountain ride or a children's day pass (available at the valley station lift ticket office) is required. The courses take place in all weather conditions! The selection of trails and topics will be adjusted according to the weather. Please bring appropriate clothing for the weather. There are showers and changing rooms on site.
