The popular summer matinees at Schloss Esterházy in Eisenstadt offer the opportunity to experience the music of Joseph Haydn, the father of Viennese Classicism, in the original setting of his work – as the great composer lived and worked at the Esterházy court for over four decades. Many of his works had their world premieres here, and even today, the unique atmosphere of this historic place fascinates and moves music lovers from around the world. The summer matinees at Schloss Esterházy take place every Thursday and Friday from July 3 to August 29, 2025.

Friday: Haydn Quartet

Free admission with the Burgenland Card
