We celebrate our tradition of the summer solstice and light the torches at the Danube bank around 9:45 PM. Shortly after 10:00 PM, the bonfires will be lit at the natural beach next to the ferry and at the Danube bank in Joching. The fireworks will be set off around 10:15 PM in St. Lorenz. In good weather, drinks and food will be offered at the Danube bank in the area between the natural beach and the beach volleyball court starting at 12:00 PM. Grilled fish will be available near the ferry.
You can take the ferry from Weißenkirchen to St. Lorenz, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the illuminated vineyards.
