We celebrate the beginning of summer on the almost longest day of the year! With a craft station starting at 6:30 PM, explorer hikes for families with children and the nature park team around 6:30 PM into the twilight forest. We invite adults to a hike to the charcoal burner’s house ruins starting around 6:45 PM to enjoy the special view of the sunset there.
At dusk, the traditional torchlight procession of the children to the fire pit begins, along with the lighting of the summer solstice fire. A cozy conclusion at the visitor center.
