This special tour focuses thematically on the art objects of the Esterházy collections. Visitors can experience 300 years of the castle's architectural history, artistic enjoyment, the lifestyle of the Esterházy princes, and the famous Haydn Hall. Special treasures from the princes' collections, such as porcelain from Frankenthal, the table silver from the Viennese company Würth, or an Empire clock with a matching pair of candlesticks, will be presented to the visitors. Space archaeology and artistic enjoyment go hand in hand on this tour, documenting the mastery of artists, the patronage and representational obligations of princes, as well as the adaptability of aristocratic interiors. Climbing the Northwest Tower, with its impressive panoramic view, forms the crowning conclusion of this special tour.
