Brass Music in the Fest Hall of Bad Goisern

Enjoy evening melodies with the traditional costume band in the center of Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt. The Trachtenkapelle Ramsau from Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt currently consists of 58 musicians (including a drum major and four vendors), of which 16 are women and 26 musicians are under 30 years old.

The traditional attire of the musicians includes a black hat with a badger fur, a brown uniform skirt, a red vest, and black knee-length trousers with green stockings. The female musicians wear a specially designed traditional dress. Three conductors oversee the band.

From the traditional music band, three smaller music groups are formed for various musical occasions: the Ramsauer Blas, the Ramsauer Quartet, and the well-known Ramsauer Dance Music.
