Trachtenbörse

“Trachten only” is the motto and “Pass it on instead of throwing it away” is the creed at the Trachtenbörse on the last Sunday of July. True treasures from the Dirndl box will be offered at the Brandlhof and Kulturpavillon starting in the early morning hours. This market implements nearly all ten R-strategies, which are forward-thinking behavioral principles for a mindful approach to our nature: such as Reduce, minimizing resource consumption; Refurbish, restoring old products; Refuse, the refusal to purchase unnecessary products; or Repurpose, using components from broken products in new functions elsewhere.

New at the Trachtenbörse this year is a Trachten fashion show, where we will feature the “Craft of the Regions” from Krems-Stein as well as seamstresses from the area on the runway. Here you can find inspiration for your own Dirndl look. A wide variety of ideas, combinations, and models awaits you!
