The Hidden Lifestyle of Owls – Many myths and legends surround the flying hunters of the night. The haunting calls of owls have an eerie quality and have earned these birds a reputation for bringing bad luck. However, there is much exciting information to share about the tawny owls, long-eared owls, and Eurasian eagle-owls that breed here.

During this night hike led by National Park Ranger Robert Müllner, we will listen to the eerily beautiful night concert of the tawny owl and learn what these calls mean. Let yourself be captivated by the impressive lifestyle of these secretive owls. We will delve into the myths and, with a bit of luck, even hear the "buhoo" of a male Eurasian eagle-owl, which can carry up to a kilometer!
