Weingut Böhmer

The Böhmer winery is a young family business located in Dürnstein. For two generations, we have been entirely dedicated to viticulture. Rooted in tradition and committed to quality.

With only four hectares of vineyards, we are among the small wine producers of the Wachau region. Additionally, the steep slopes of most of our vineyards require manual cultivation, just as it was done centuries ago, without harvest machines or the like. The result is an intensive engagement with the vineyards throughout the year, special care in handling the vines and grapes, and a primary focus on the quality, not the quantity, of our wines. We are proud to produce around 10,000 bottles of quality wine each year that meets the strict requirements of Vinea Wachau. Furthermore, we specialize in the production of fine sweet wines and select wines. The combination of centuries-old tradition with modern viticulture knowledge is the secret to our wines.

In addition, our winery also produces fine spirits, jams, and liqueurs.
