The Weinhof Kaiser in Wetzmannsthal, run by Sabrina and Florian Kaiser in its sixth generation, is one of the most traditional wine estates in the Traisental region. Wine has been produced here for over 200 years, now in a modernly equipped cellar, and the family’s Heuriger is a popular meeting place in the area. The numerous award-winning wines, which regularly win gold medals at the Lower Austrian Wine Awards, form the backbone of the offerings, and the lovingly prepared Heurigen platter is a visual delight in itself. Last but not least, the Kaisers are also known for their meat quality: In their small farm, a few pigs are raised exclusively on straw, where they feel truly "sauwohl" (as happy as a pig).
