"Urgestein" is the reason why the wines here, at the foot of the Dunkelsteiner Forest, achieve their finesse and minerality. And "Urgestein" is also the historical winery of the Müllner family, which has been in the family for nearly two centuries. It is a family business where daughter Johanna is already actively involved, and it is a particularly welcoming place. In the Heurigen, with its cozy rooms and large courtyard garden, mostly homemade specialties are served, and the variety of wines, ranging from fine sparkling Frizzante to light Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, Zweigelt, and Syrah, leaves nothing to be desired. The selection of fine spirits that complements the offerings of the house is equally extensive. No wonder that they proudly carry the title of a top Heuriger in Lower Austria.
