Experience more than 800 years of history of the town and castle of Weitra in the lovingly designed castle museum. It shows with exhibits and works of art not only the eventful history of the Kuenringer (who laid the foundation stone for castle and town) and the present house lords, the Fürstenberger. The show not only provides insight into Waldviertel crafts and regional economic history, but also shows the manorial and bourgeois living as well as the parish and patronage history of Weitra.
