Where in ancient times a Gothic castle was resplendent, Wilfersdorf Castle has been in the uninterrupted possession of the Liechtenstein family since 1440. Since then, the historic magnificent building has undergone major alterations. In the 19th century, it briefly served as a Prussian cholera hospital. Today, the completely renovated castle is an inviting place to visit, to visit a museum and to enjoy the castle's wine tavern and wine bar.
