Ideally located between Mariazellerbahn and Ötschergräben, Wienerbruck has developed over many years into the most popular entry point to the Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park. Since 2015, the Ötscher Base has been the new nature park center here. It houses a restaurant with a lake terrace and a store. Outdoors, there are beautifully designed places to linger and play. The Ötscher-Basis is also an information center and starting point for excursions in the Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park. Hikes and explorations start from here, accompanied by over 70 nature mediators who have been specially trained.
