Through Dirndltal to Mariazellerland - the Mariazellerbahn is a modern means of transport and takes you comfortably from A to B between St. Pölten and Mariazell. Numerous hiking routes, excursion destinations and bike paths lie along the route and can be reached by train without a car. The journey is quite relaxed. Spectacular views await you from the train - especially the Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park delights with unique landscapes, the Ötscher always in view. The trains run every hour or even every half hour in the morning - with the night trains, traveling late at night is also comfortable and safe.
