Magical as always, but better than ever, the internationally renowned and versatile artist presents herself visually in a new look: Jazz singer and composer Simone Kopmajer once again succeeds in giving well-known classics like "Let It Snow" and "Süßer die Glocken nie klingen," among others, a modern twist with her expressive and sensitive voice—without neglecting the traditional and original elements. The beloved fusion of jazz and folk music among fans reaches a new musical level through the various arrangements. This is also thanks to her first-time collaboration with an Austrian children's choir and her unique interpretation of the Erzherzog-Johann-Jodler with Herbert Pixner. "Home for Christmas" was recorded in New York together with pianist John Di Martino (US), Japanese bassist Noriko Ueda, Viennese keyboardist Geri Schuller, Austrian drummer Reinhardt Winkler, and American saxophonist Aaron Heick (Paul Simon, Lady Gaga). The arrangements are by Grammy-nominated musician John Di Martino and are complemented on the album by traditional folk musicians from Styria. And of course, duets with handpicked, outstanding artists like Ana Milva Gomes, Anja Om, and Viktor Gernot are also included this time. An album of great emotions and musical highlights.
