Bartholomew's Day in Hintersee

In honor of St. Bartholomew, the small community of Hintersee celebrates the popular traditional fair every year. Many visitors from the village, the surrounding communities, as well as guests from near and far join in the festivities when the celebration is opened at 10:00 AM, following the church service. The traditional group, the camaraderie, the farmers' wives, and the Feichtenstoa Teifin organize the fair together and provide culinary delights, while the TMK Hintersee takes care of the musical accompaniment. As is customary for a fair, various goods are offered for sale at market and vendor stalls, with a particular emphasis on local and regional craftsmen and producers.
