THE DAY FOR ALL BEGINNERS IN THE BIKE PARK! Our introductory training for all bike park newcomers! Control, safety, and a lot of fun! Here you will learn all the important skills to better master your bike in a playful way in small groups! Our beginner courses primarily focus on teaching techniques that are essential for riding on the trails. Our sport is classified as an extreme sport, so our courses NEVER focus on meters and altitude or the number of trails ridden, but rather on learning essential techniques that can later be built upon to safely navigate the bike park trails. Unlike ski courses, the instructor cannot bring a student down the mountain using poles or assist them in a snowplow. Therefore, braking exercises are a main component of this course.
Goal: All bike park basics, cornering, proper braking, berms, steering techniques, navigating steep corners, overcoming obstacles safely, initial small jump techniques, and much more!
You will need: A downhill, enduro, or freeride bike, a full-face helmet, a safety set, and a day pass for the Leogang bike park is required!
Start: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Level: *Beginner (No to minimal prior knowledge) ** Some prior knowledge
Minimum number of participants: 4 people
Minimum age: 14 years - younger participants welcome upon request!
Group division by age and level. All courses in small groups.
Meeting point: Bike School Elements - Valley Station Leoganger Bergbahnen in the building of Sport Mitterer.
PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE START OF THE COURSE WITH YOUR BIKE AND EQUIPMENT READY! You can book the bike directly through the registration link (see above).
