Spring Concert of the Linz Concert Association

The program of this spring concert lives up to its title in every respect. From Josef Strauss' operetta overture "Frühlingsluft" to Johann Strauss' "Frühlingsstimmenwalzer" and Robert Stolz' "Frühling in Wien," the colorful musical spectrum is tailored to the season. It is also well-known that in "My Fair Lady," it is so green when Spain's blossoms bloom. Love and passion are often sung in images of spring. However, this can become dangerous, as Carmen's tragic ending shows. The stages of life, childhood and youth, are also symbolized by spring. Therefore, it was a natural choice to invite the choir of the Ernst-Koref-School, conducted by Lisa-Maria Berghammer, to participate in the spring concert. Ultimately, the young violinist Nina Sofie Berghammer demonstrates that one can dare to approach Anton Bruckner's seventh symphony with an electric violin.
