Maypole Festival at the Open-Air Museum

The festival with the traditional Maypole raising starts at 1 PM. From the morning opening of the museum, visitors can admire the skills of various craftsmen: embroidering traditional vests, woodturning, making rakes, and much more. On this day, the weaver operates her loom in the Lärchenhof, and the wood-fired oven in front of the Lärchenhof is in operation. The farmers' wives from Großgmain pamper visitors with culinary delights, and Salzburg beer is also a must.
