Brass Music Supergroup
The Brass Music Supergroup — consisting of musicians from the Vienna Philharmonic, Egerländer Musikanten, Mnozil Brass, Federspiel, da Blechhauf’n, Kapelle So&So, Viera Blech, Carinthian Symphony Orchestra, United Stages Orchestra — is a project initiated by Thomas Gansch to demonstrate that brass music has much to say. Brass music is a lived experience of togetherness. It is an instrument of integration with enormous impact and, in times of societal division, an incredibly important common denominator. And it is more than just party music that one sings along to after consuming beer to forget everyday life.
