Star gazing in the Mühlviertel Nature Park

Experience the starry night sky together in the nature park. During the short hike from the village square to the Karl-Weichselbaumer observation tower, we will walk through the solar system at a scale of 1:2 billion, featuring scale models of the sun and the planets. At the observation tower, we will explore the winter constellations in the night sky with a green laser pointer. The hike over the stone meadow and the Großdöllnerhof will lead us back to the starting point.

Location: Village square in Rechberg Duration: approx. 2 hours

Cost: Adults € 12,- / Children up to 12 years: voluntary donation

Number of participants: minimum 5, maximum 18 people Equipment: very warm clothing, sturdy footwear, flashlight or headlamp Note: Only takes place in clear starry weather!
