Folk Music Weekend Bad Goisern

Join us! The Inner Salzkammergut is the epitome of authentic folk music of all kinds.

This seminar in Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt is aimed at all folk musicians, both those experienced and those who wish to become one.

Look forward to this fantastic weekend, where folk musical tunes and the necessary techniques on each instrument will be practiced and rehearsed.

10:45 AM to 12:30 PM Lessons
1:00 PM to 2:30 PM Lunch at Goisererhof, practice opportunities
2:30 PM Coffee break at the school
3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Lessons
5:00 PM to 6:30 PM Folk dancing

7:30 PM Folk music and dance at the state music school

3:00 PM Concert or folk music afternoon

The following instruments will be taught:
Harp, tuba, double bass, side pipe, violin, melody and accompaniment guitar, zither, hammered dulcimer, flute, Styrian harmonica, as well as folk song singing.

Ensemble playing and the connection between dance, songs, and music from Austrian folk culture will also be practiced.
